Keio Co-Evo House Smart Demolition and Recycling Activities before 2024
This is a joint research project with Azusa Sekkei, and will involve the cooperation of Professor Kondo of the building method and Professor Koshihara of the structure method. This project will start from the planning stage in order to build a "Digital Wood Laboratory" in the future as a model project for recycling-oriented wooden architecture.
The Ikeda Laboratory mainly led this research activity, and with the cooperation of the University of Tokyo, Keio University, the Koshihara Laboratory at the University of Tokyo, the Seike Laboratory, Takenaka Corporation, Meiken Kogyo Co., Ltd., and Haseman Co., Ltd., completed a demolition project for the Keio Co-Evolution House (CLT) at Keio University to recover and reuse CLT materials. In this research activity, BIM and 3D scanning technology were used to consider demolition methods, predict demolition, record waste materials, and recycle and reuse CLT materials.
