Dr. Nicolas Rogeau

 

Dr. Nicolas Rogeau is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Tokyo supported by a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). After studying civil engineering and architecture at UCLouvain and ULaval, he completed his thesis at EPFL on the robotic assembly of timber structures. His interdisciplinary expertise led him to collaborate across diverse fields to address the sustainable transformation of the construction sector. His research focuses on computational design and construction automation, with a particular interest in human-machine collaboration. Driven by a passion for both innovative and traditional building techniques, he aims to develop better construction practices for the future.
