Michiro Abe

Hello. I am Abe Michihiro, a first year master's student. In my undergraduate graduation thesis, I developed a tool for designing membrane structures using MR technology, titled "Research on Mixed Reality Technology as an Effective Method for Designing and Constructing Structures Made of Flexible Materials." In my master's program, I would like to research what kind of designs are possible now that MR technology has made UI three-dimensional and the architectural process, including the UI, can be completed entirely in three dimensions. Outside of school, I work as a reporter for the University of Tokyo Newspaper and as a writer for the architecture magazine Nikkei Architecture.
